Geographical Regions
Why Geography?
History can be seen through many lenses, but oftentimes the most helpful one, in my opinion, is geography. By splitting the world up geographically, we can see how environments affected a nations history. For example, Egyptian history is clearly defined by its geography, with the fertile Nile Delta promoting growth. Similarly, we can explain the motivations of countries like Britain who went out and colonized the world to escape their sad and rainy island.
